Bread, Seed, and Fruits. God will increase the fruits of your righteousness

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for
your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of
your righteousness

2 Corinthians 9:10

There are three things that are happening in your finances every day of
your life as you continue to follow God. First, He will “minister bread
for your food.” He will take care of all of your needs.

Secondly, He will “multiply your seed sown.” When you receive an
unexpected gift, the first thing you should do is check with the Holy
Ghost and find out what He wants you to do with it. This money is
earmarked for sowing. The money you receive is to not only come to you,
but to also go through you. The more money that goes through you, the
more money can come to you.

Thirdly, God will “increase the fruits of your righteousness.” In other
words, He will increase your personal harvest. Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The Cross is life

The Cross Is Life by Billy Graham

A gospel that appeals to our reason or righteousness will always be popular, for people like to feel that we can circumvent the cross of Christ. The cross left no footing for man to stand upon. It put the responsibility of man’s redemption upon Christ. Had not man failed? And was he not and is he not continuing to fail? Hasn’t history proved that “there is none righteous, no, not one”? (Romans 3:10).

The cross comes with its mighty power to bring low as well as to exalt, for it exalts none but those whom first it humbles. It calls the pious worshiper to come down out of his ivory tower and to take his place at the cross with the outcast and the vile. It tells the earnest seeker and the anxious inquirer that by their own efforts they are made not one whit better until they put their hope fully in Him who was slain. It tells the sincere evangelical, whose mind is a treasury of orthodox doctrines, that he must stand beside the drunkard and harlot and say, God be merciful to me a sinner!” (Luke 18:13).

I realize that these are hard sayings, but the Bible says that the cross is an offense to the righteousness of man. The cross says that “all have sinned” (Romans 3:23). It decrees that every person, marred by sin, must be remade. It is more than pardon, for forgiveness cancels the old wrong but leaves a man where he is morally. It is even more than justification, for justification makes a man judicially worthy in the sight of God. The cross means life.

Prayer

Lord, forgive us for thinking that we can create our own righteousness. Help us to learn what it means to put our hope fully in Christ and to have life to the fullest. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May The Good Lord Save Nigeria And Israel From All Our Enemies And Prosper Us Beyond Our Imaginations, In Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!

Our Choices are never free of conflict

Your Choices are never free from conflict

Galatians 5:17

Many people believe that the end justifies the means. They say it is acceptable to compromise God‘s standards to get ahead. But the fact is we always lose when we violate God’s standards of righteousness. However, it is not always easy to do what is right.

I remember when we moved our headquarters from California to Florida. We had been unable to sell or lease some of our property in California. The buildings remained empty, yet every month we still had to make our mortgage payments.

Some successful Christian businessmen counseled me to default and allow the bank to repossess the property. Many businesses do this, and financially we would be far better off. But that would be wrong since we had signed a contract with the bank. We purposed to trust God to help us pay the bills and sell the property in a way that would honor Him.

Five years passed before we finally sold the property. Although making those payments was a financial hardship, God greatly blessed the ministry. Contributions dramatically increased year after year. I believe God blessed us because we ran the ministry His way.

If we had defaulted on our agreement we could have saved a lot of money, but we would have violated our word and our contract. It is never right to do wrong in order to get a chance to do right. Being righteous as God is righteous means making sacrifices and often saying “no” to the easy way out.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Self Righteousness

Self Righteousness

The Best Sinner

Matthew 5:20, “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

MATTHEW 5:17-22

What did Jesus mean? Since the Pharisees fasted twice each week, does this mean we have to fast three times each week? Since they paid tithes on everything including spices, does this mean that anyone who fails to tithe is doomed to hell?

No! Definitely not. The Pharisees’ righteousness was based on their actions. Jesus is advocating a righteousness that is based on faith in what He did for us.

Trusting in our own actions will never grant us access to God. We may be better than others, but who wants to be the best sinner that ever went to hell? We have all sinned and come short of perfection which is what God requires (Rom. 3:23).

The only one who was ever good enough to earn right standing with God is Jesus. And His righteousness is offered as a gift to anyone who will put their faith in Him as their Saviour.

Jesus offers us a righteousness by faith that is so far superior to the self righteousness that the Pharisees had that there is no comparison. This is the righteousness that we need and which is available to us only through faith in Christ.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled

Matthew 5:6, “Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

MATTHEW 5:1-9

In the natural world, people eat even when they aren’t hungry. Many of us can prove that by turning sideways and looking at ourselves in the mirror. But in the spiritual realm, only those who are hungry can get fed. One of the worst things that can happen to us is spiritual complacency.

Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us. Most people don’t feel that way. They would rather have the feeling of being full. But Jesus promised us that fullness would follow hunger. No hunger, no fullness.

Therefore, what many people hate is actually a sign of spiritual health. Longing for more of God is a healthy sign. No one hungers for God on their own. That is not the nature of man. No man hungers for God unless the Spirit of God is drawing him (Jn. 6:44).

Hungering for God doesn’t cause God to move in our lives, but it is a sign that God is already at work in us. We should praise God for spiritual hunger and be encouraged. He doesn’t make us hungry and then let us starve. He does so in order to fill us with His blessings and love. We need a hunger that will never be satisfied until the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream…. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Jeremiah 17:7-9

We cannot separate actions from consequences. Why, then, do we allow our culture to tell us that we can plant seeds of one kind and bear fruits of another? The world tells us that we can plant seeds of promiscuity and carelessness and bear fruits of beauty, happiness and even love. But the results are disease, unwanted pregnancy and unhappiness.

Root and fruit are inevitably intertwined.

Isaiah 32:17 says, “The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.”

One of the surest ways to change your life for the better is to stop sowing seeds that bear bad fruit! Plant seeds of righteousness and put those roots in your life. Unlike the culture around us, the Bible takes a very clear position on right and wrong.

Ask Him to guide your actions so you will produce good fruit that is pleasing to God.

Greatness; all for God

GREATNESS
Nothing great and durable has ever been produced with ease.

Labour is the parent of all the lasting monuments of the world, whether in verse or

in stone, in poetry or in pyramid.
