Don’t Fail God‘s Test! by Pastor Andre Butler
Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not
sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little
John 6:7
Jesus was testing Philip so he could see what he really relied on when under pressure. Philip failed the test. He started looking at the money
that was needed to feed the multitudes rather than what Jesus was able
to do. He should have said, “Well Jesus, I may not understand what’s
going on here, but I know You’re able to do whatever we need to do to
take care of this issue.” But that is not what he did.
It’s one thing to declare that God is your source when things are going
good and money is coming your way, when God is blessing you all the
time. It’s another thing to declare that God is your source when
unexpected bills are showing up and financial circumstances seem to be
crushing you. Remember, your God is a source who is able to supply your
needs at all times!
May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
