Enduring To The End

James_1-12-1: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him

Text

Matthew 24:13

But He That Shall Endure Unto The End, The Same Shall Be Saved.

1 Corinthians 10:13

There Hath No Temptation Taken You But Such As Is Common To Man: But God Is Faithful, Who Will Not Suffer You To Be Tempted Above That Ye Are Able; But Will With The Temptation Also Make A Way To Escape, That Ye May Be Able To Bear It.

Introduction:

Someone May Have A Good Start In Christian Race And Then Cools Off Later. Many A Times Someone Who Used To Be Very Hot For The Lord May Even Leave The Lord Completely. I Pray That God Will Grant Us The Grace To Endure To The End.

Why Must We Endure To The End?

2-Timothy_2-3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ

Because There Are Crowns Waiting For Us. Eg.

Crown Of Life

James 1:12

Blessed Is The Man That Endureth Temptation: For When He Is Tried, He Shall Receive The Crown Of Life, Which The Lord Hath Promised To Them That Love Him.

Crown Of Glory

1 Peter 5:4

And When The Chief Shepherd Shall Appear, Ye Shall Receive A Crown Of Glory That Fadeth Not Away.

Crown Of Righteousness

2 Timothy 4:8

Henceforth There Is Laid Up For Me A Crown Of Righteousness, Which The Lord, The Righteous Judge, Shall Give Me At That Day: And Not To Me Only, But Unto All Them Also That Love His Appearing

We Will Reign With Christ

Romans 8:17-18

17 And If Children, Then Heirs; Heirs Of God, And Joint-Heirs With Christ; If So Be That We Suffer With Him, That We May Be Also Glorified Together.

18 For I Reckon That The Sufferings Of This Present Time Are Not Worthy To Be Compared With The Glory Which Shall Be Revealed In Us.

In Other To Shine As Stars

Daniel 12:3

Those Who Are Wise Will Shine Like The Brightness Of The Heavens, And Those Who Lead Many To Righteousness, Like The Stars For Ever And Ever.

To Be Pillars In The Temple Of God

Revelation 3:12

The One Who Is Victorious I Will Make A Pillar In The Temple Of My God. Never Again Will They Leave It. I Will Write On Them The Name Of My God And The Name Of The City Of My God, The New Jerusalem, Which Is Coming Down Out Of Heaven From My God; And I Will Also Write On Them My New Name.

To Have Access To The Tree Of Life

Revelation 22:1-5

And He Shewed Me A Pure River Of Water Of Life, Clear As Crystal, Proceeding Out Of The Throne Of God And Of The Lamb.

2 In The Midst Of The Street Of It, And On Either Side Of The River, Was There The Tree Of Life, Which Bare Twelve Manner Of Fruits, And Yielded Her Fruit Every Month: And The Leaves Of The Tree Were For The Healing Of The Nations.

3 And There Shall Be No More Curse: But The Throne Of God And Of The Lamb Shall Be In It; And His Servants Shall Serve Him:

4 And They Shall See His Face; And His Name Shall Be In Their Foreheads.

5 And There Shall Be No Night There; And They Need No Candle, Neither Light Of The Sun; For The Lord God Giveth Them Light: And They Shall Reign For Ever And Ever.

To Inherit All Things

Revelations 21:7

He That Overcometh Shall Inherit All Things; And I Will Be His God, And He Shall Be My Son.

To Behold His Face

Psalm 17:15

As For Me, I Will Behold Thy Face In Righteousness: I Shall Be Satisfied, When I Awake, With Thy Likeness.

Conclusion:

Knowing That We Have These Wonderful Rewards In Serving God, Let Us Endure To The End.

Hebrews_12-2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God
